临汾衡阳常德

常德会战,1943年秋，日军集中8万余人的兵力和130余架飞机，对常德地区的中国军队发动进攻。中国军队集中28个师约19.4万人、飞机100余架，进行防御。1943年11月2日，会战打响。常德会战历时65天，这在抗战相持阶段是少见的。战斗激烈、伤亡惨重。日军伤亡4万余人，战死3名联队长；中国军队死伤5万余人，3名师长阵亡。中国军队不仅顶住了日军的进攻，而且将日军赶出了常德，保住了这一战略要地，使中国入缅远征军无后顾之忧，打通了中印、中缅公路。常德会战被称为中国的斯大林格勒战役。

滇西战役,主战场松山,1943年10月底，国民堂驻印军队和英、印军队对缅北日军发起反攻，打通国际交通线，收复怒江以西失地，以求从陆路上获得外援，决定于5月发起滇西反功战役。 参战部队多达16万人。远征军先后经历了松山、腾冲、龙陵、芒市、遮放、畹町战斗，最终将日军逐出了国门，收复了失地。滇西战役是整个中国抗日战争中的一个重要战役，而松山之战则是滇西战役中的一场关键性大战。

豫中会战:1944年4月～5月25日,日军试图通过豫中会战围歼第一战区主力，并打通平汉线。由于国民革命军指挥失当，洛阳沦陷。日军实现最初的作战计划。

临汾，亮剑中李云龙原型“王疯子”全歼冈村宁次“华北派遣军司令部战地观战团，10月24日凌晨，我16团担任伏击作战任务的6个连队借着浓浓的夜色，隐蔽地进入了韩略村公路两旁的庄稼地里，迅速作好了战斗准备。上午8时，由临汾方向传来了汽车发动机的声音。紧接着，编有3辆小汽车和13辆卡车的日军车队，满载着日军官兵进入了我伏击圈。王近山司令员一声令下，担任截尾任务的6连首先打响了第一枪。紧接着，前面的日军汽车也在接二连三的地雷爆炸声中被掀翻在路旁。突遭袭击的日军官兵慌忙下车应战。我军布置在公路两旁的轻重机枪火力，居高临下，泼水般地扫向敌人。顿时，整个韩略村公路上杀声震天，弹雨横飞。许多日军还没弄明白子弹来自何方，就糊里湖涂地送了命。王近山司令员见突遭袭击的日军惊慌失措，根本组织不起有效的抵抗和反击，遂命令司号员吹响冲锋号。冲锋号一响，我军官兵端起刺刀向敌人发起勇猛的冲锋，一场惊心动魄的肉搏战展开。只见公路上刀光闪闪，喊杀声、惨叫声不绝于耳。战士们的刺刀和大刀与日军指挥官们的军刀相互格击，闪闪的刀光下不时传来日寇狼嚎般的惨叫声。经过近3个小时的血战，16辆车上的180余名日军全部被我军歼灭。 战后，我军从打扫战场时缴获的文件中得知，被歼的这支日军是侵华日军华北方面军司令冈村宁次组织的所谓“皇军军官战地观战团”。
