上高战役,1941年3月15日至4月9日，中日军队在赣北上高进行了为时25天的会战。中国军队毙伤日军少将指挥官岩永以下1.5万多人。对中国军队来说，这是一次难得的，始终掌握战场主动权的会战。

五原大捷,1940年3月20日晚，傅作义将军亲率主力奇袭五原。至3月22日彻底消灭日伪军，击毙绥西警备总司令永川信夫中将、特务机关长桑原中佐以下日伪军3000多人。

昆仑关大捷,1939年12月18日，中国第五军在军长杜聿明指挥下，向被日军占领的位于广西南宁东北50公里处的昆仑关发起攻击，到12月31日，昆仑关战役胜利结束。此役沉重打击了日军中素称精锐的第五师团。昆仑关大捷是抗战以来中国军队罕见的一场成功的正面攻击战。中国军队也付出了极大的牺牲，有11000人负伤，5500人为国捐躯。
